<br />
BIG|BRAVE prepare to release their anticipated new album A Chaos of Flowers, coming on April 19th, 2024 from Thrill Jockey, and have revealed a new single from it. canon: in canon finds the band collaborating with their labelmate and acclaimed guitarist Marisa Anderson.
<br />
<br />
The track displays emotive vocals, beautifully distorted guitars with slow arpeggios, and delicate percussion, creating a captivating blend of fragility and empowerment.
<br />
<br />
For A Chaos Of Flowers, vocalist and guitarist Wattie drew inspiration from the poetry of fellow artists who, like them, have faced sidelining by societal standards, infusing the album with their shared experiences.
<br />
<br />
“I discovered that most poems from folk traditions or in the public domain seem to be by men – to which I could not quite relate. In my search, I rediscovered some of my favorite works and poets,” says Wattie.
<br />
<br />
Wattie's incorporation of poetry from diverse artists spanning the globe and representing various facets of womanhood, blended with her own verses, explores the disorientation that alienation fosters in the minds of individuals depreciated by society.
<br />
<br />
“It is a feeling of relatability and even astonishment really,” Wattie comments, “with how these writers of different standings and eras and all being female-presenting, each expressing these seemingly similar intense moments of individual experiences, of intimacy and madness. We're alone, and yet, not.”

<br />
Following the release of their first single, London's test plan introduces their new song and accompanying music video, Walking in a Vacuum. The release is scheduled for March 26th, 2024, accompanied by their headline single launch event on March 29th at Paper Dress Vintage, London, featuring performances by in violet and Brides.
<br />
<br />
The new single, recorded and mixed by Darren Jones (Fat Dog, The Fall, Gorillaz) in the band’s own north-east London practice space, is a powerful expression of existential despair fused with a profound appreciation for loudness. It combines fierce guitar riffs and pulsating rhythms driven by intense vocals, creating a compelling sound as a whole.
<br />
<br />
“There’s a lot to be said for resilience in life and for grinning and bearing it.” says drummer/vocalist Max Mason. “This can feel psychotic when scientists warn of ecological disaster and political leaders persistently uphold the qualities of incompetent narcissists. [Walking in a] Vacuum dances with this notion of pushing your emotions down and letting the world swallow you up. It’s a dance song about over-thinking and surrender, when maybe you should be doing neither.”
<br />
<br />
The music video, created entirely in-house by Mason who handled filming, editing, animation, and direction, adeptly presents the essence of the song's themes, emphasizing the idea of resilience amidst chaos and ambivalence.
<br />
<br />
Mason comments: “It was a deliberate effort to be artistic and wanted it to feel as if it were a performance art in a gallery space. It was an attempt to make something that looked sort of cursed or horrifying without actually doing anything blatantly to make it so. The animated touches were a way to add an extra layer of mysticism; colour and playfulness to our otherwise angsty performances.”

<br />
VAZUM, the dark rock project of Zach Pliska and Emily Sturm, unveils a tantalizing glimpse of their forthcoming album, Western Violence, with the release of new single Breach. The track fascinates with its dark intensity, setting itself apart through its moody atmosphere, accompanied by a self-produced video that mirrors the nightmarish themes of the lyrics.
<br />
<br />
Produced at Light Echo Studio, VAZUM's recently renovated church studio in Jackson, MI, Breach unfolds VAZUM's signature blend of shoegaze and industrial influences, a merging they have dubbed "deathgaze." The song is meticulously crafted, focusing on themes of artificial control and psychological turmoil, painting a vivid picture of a bleak and possibly not-so-distant world.

<br />
Montreal-based band Fleeting Colours makes an impressive debut with their first single, Out of Days, signaling a powerful beginning for the group. Rooted in classic shoegaze, their sound exudes a hypnotic allure that sets them apart.
<br />
<br />
Recorded and produced by Clayton Dupuis (Shallow, Last Waltzon) and mixed and mastered by Jeff Zeigler (Knifeplay, The War on Drugs, Cloud Nothings), Out of Days emits a seasoned aura, defying the typical rawness associated with newcomers and instead exuding a genuine dexterity. The track's enthralling atmosphere, propelled by the absorbing guitar work, is particularly charming, manifesting the band's readiness.

<br />
Originally just a project limited to a university bedroom in Brighton, DREAMWAVE honed their psychedelic garage sound in 2021. The band, reimagined as a full-fledged psychedelic rock outfit, reveal their latest single, Hidden Sun, following their relocation to Bristol. This shift signifies a departure from Brighton's dreamy coastal views, and a move toward a weightier, brutalist sonic landscape.
<br />
<br />
With their new offering, DREAMWAVE sought to produce a composition which radiates a particular warmth, drawing inspiration from the hot and soothing atmosphere of Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns. The single's title directly nods to this influence, describing the scorching heat of a hidden sun amidst a desert backdrop.
<br />
<br />
The members of DREAMWAVE share a passion for retro graphic design, Bauhaus minimalism, and sci-fi realms like Warhammer. This blend of constituents shines through in their music, which feels like a synthesis of various creative origins.

<br />
Ist Ist is the latest single release from the pioneers of underground music, Einstürzende Neubauten. The new track is featured on the band's upcoming album Rampen (apm: alien pop music).
<br />
<br />
For numerous years, Einstürzende Neubauten have immersed themselves in live experimentation, dubbing these sessions 'Rampen,' public improvisations serving as portals to unexplored sounds. The recordings from these Rampen sessions, held during the encore of their concluding Alles in Allem tour in 2022, serve as the cornerstone of their newest album. Blixa Bargeld, N. U. Unruh, Alexander Hacke, Jochen Arbeit, Rudolph Moser, and Felix Gebhard present their most unpredictable facets.
<br />
<br />
The central themes of the new album revolve around change, utopian mind games, and transience. The initial material from the album exudes a profoundly eccentric and otherworldly essence, precisely what one would anticipate from a boundary-pushing band like Einstürzende Neubauten.
<br />
<br />
“On the album, I found a few solutions and formulated things in ways I haven't formulated them before, because they were never so clear to me," Blixa Bargeld comments. "I'm someone who believes you can achieve knowledge through music. It's always been that way. I follow the conviction. I'll find something in the music that I didn't know before. And sing something that I didn't know. Something that turns out to be true. Or, to take this down a notch, something that at least has meaning.”
<br />
<br />
This album marks the next phase in their evolution, where they abandon familiar conventions, unlocking a realm of new possibilities.
<br />
<br />
Rampen (apm: alien pop music) comes out on April 5th, 2024.

The first release for 2024 from The First Eloi, the German shoegaze band, Hide & Seek, emerges following their highly acclaimed EP, Low Glow, released in 2023. <br />
Russian Baths is a New York-based band which draws its name from the iconic co-owned bathhouse, channeling the complex and layered histories of the city itself. Consisting of Jess Rees (Activity), Luke Koz, and Kyle Garvey, the band released their debut album, Deepfake, in November 2019. Their upcoming second album, Mirror, is scheduled for release on June 14th, 2024, via Good Eye Records, with Split serving as its lead single.
<br />
<br />
The band comments on the new track: "People copy people. People are copies of people. People avoid their reflections. People are reflections of other people. People don’t look at people unless they really want to, even if you give them money."
<br />
<br />
Split possesses a mesmeric quality, characterized by moody tones and ominous lyrics that become a stark reminder of the perpetual presence of the past and the looming possibility of being replaced. Lifting from a blend of shoegaze, dreampop, and post punk influences, Russian Baths create a distinct sound that resonates with beauty and significance.
<br />
<br />
Split is produced and mixed by Jeff Berner (Psychic TV, Activity, Stuy) and mastered by Sarah Register (Protomartyr, Kim Gordon, Wye Oak).

<br />
XOR, the electronic project led by Matthew, bassist of Secret Shame, has made a comeback with the latest release, Waiting, an earnest ode to distance in relationships. The accompanying music video presents the artist making an effort at stop-motion animation, using playdough and construction paper to mirror the song's mood. Waiting contrasts upbeat rhythms and melancholic undertones, producing a dreamy yet danceable energy.
<br />
<br />
Matthew wrote the song for his partner while on tour with Secret Shame. The artist explains: "We’d gone from being around each other non-stop during lockdown to me being away on tour a large part of the year. It’s hard to navigate being on the road so much and having a life at home. No matter how often we call or text, it just isn’t the same as being around someone and sharing a life with them."
<br />
<br />
The video's creation was spontaneous, with XOR developing scenes based on the behavior of the materials rather than following a predetermined direction. Its concept was inspired by the sound of the song itself. "Something about the synth leads just sounded like clay digesting itself," Matthew elaborates.

<br />
Following the notable release of their album Aveilut, experimental black metal outfit Scarcity is preparing to unveil their sophomore full length, The Promise of Rain, picking up right where the previous album's most intense climaxes left off.
<br />
<br />
This album embodies the profound truth that burdens become more manageable when shared, a realization Brendon Randall-Myers (conductor of the Glenn Branca Ensemble) extensively explored while creating this record. Randall-Myers and vocalist Doug Moore (Pyrrhon, Weeping Sores, Glorious Depravity, and Seputus) never anticipated being able to perform these songs live, yet, the cathartic experience of sharing something born from isolation with a live audience lies at the core of the severity found in The Promise of Rain.
<br />
<br />
With an updated lineup featuring Tristan Kasten-Krause (Sigur Ros, Steve Reich, LEYA) on bass, Dylan Dilella (Pyrrhon) on guitar, and Lev Weinstein (Krallice) on drums, Scarcity is poised to deliver their most dynamic and immersive work yet.
<br />
<br />
The lyrics of The Promise of Rain draw inspiration from Moore's journey to the high deserts of southern Utah in 2023. Reflecting on this experience, Moore notes: “To thrive in the desert is an act of abnegation. You do right by the land and receive its gifts, or it does away with you.” This necessity of adaptation resonates not only in the desert landscape but also within the human experience.
<br />
<br />
Opening the album with an edgy and melancholic tone, In The Basin Of Alkaline Grief sets the stage for Scarcity's exploration of new experimental territories, producing an otherworldly atmosphere.
<br />
<br />
The Promise of Rain is set to come out on June 12th, 2024, via The Flenser.

<br />
Violetta, a new synth-based post punk duo, emerges with their debut single, Nervous Tendencies. Comprising Wyatt Oberholzer and Michael Walsh, the band takes its name from a particular shade of lipstick, reflecting the aesthetic of their music. Their sound leans towards the darker side of new wave and EBM, with a distinct inclination towards darkwave.
<br />
<br />
Inspired by a diverse array of art forms, including the visually rich films of directors like Nicolas Winding Refn, Darren Aronofsky, and Ari Aster, Violetta's creative reservoir goes deep. Additionally, the influence of Peter Hook's pioneering work with New Order figures prominently in each member's artistic path.
<br />
<br />
Oberholzer and Walsh, once bandmates in the hardcore punk bands Chemical Fix and Fixation, experienced a notable transformation in their musical preferences over time. Both independently drawn to electronic music, through their new project they converge their artistry to explore a completely new domain.
<br />
<br />
Wyatt Oberholzer comments on the new single: "The song started as a 20-second loop that I came up with and brought to the band in that raw form. From there, we built upon that idea together in just one night. This was one of the first three songs we wrote for this project, and it didn’t feel right until months later, we decided to speed it up a touch. That led us to simplify the overall structure and completely re-track the vocals, at which point the song finally fell into place."
<br />
<br />
Nervous Tendencies provides a cathartic release in relation to the complexities of modern life, offering an emotional escape from such pressures. It is an intense song that maintains an infectious danceability, conjuring the atmospheric experience of a night drive through an urban cityscape, enveloped in moody immersion.
<br />
<br />
Nervous Tendencies is out through the Los Angeles label Dune Altar.

<br />
Hailing from Istanbul, Turkey, egg punk prodigies Goblin Daycare deliver another electrifying track with their latest single, Boss Man. It's a punchy song featured on their upcoming album AGITPROP HOTLINE!! set to come out via Dedstrange, and it embodies themes of retribution and sweet revenge.
<br />
<br />
With their signature blend of Devo-inspired synthpunk and gritty garage rock, Boss Man chronicles the story of a worker pushed to their limits, unleashing a torrent of frustration and raw energy through ranting, resolute vocals, gripping guitar riffs, and irresistible synths.
<br />
<br />
As they build anticipation for their soon-to-be-released album, Goblin Daycare continue to deliver succinct yet forceful doses of gritty intelligence that resonate deeply.

<br />
Monaco is the latest single from the upcoming album by shoegaze pioneers Ride. The new track veers toward the group's more upbeat side, exuding a vibrant and exciting sound.
<br />
<br />
Ride's Mark Gardener unveils details behind the song's creation: "The backing track came from the earlier Ox4 Sound sessions we did and we gave it a demo name of ‘Monaco’ as we were naming these jams and ideas we were pulling together as place names. One evening, during the recording sessions at Ox4 Sound, the guys had all left the building and I was there with just producer Richie Kennedy and an engineer. I had been writing some words about how I was feeling that everybody was being smashed in the current economic climate with the rise of energy bills and all else; to the point that it just seems now that we’re having to live to work instead of working to live. The song is a reflection on this feeling of how we’re all being smashed to pieces and under pressure constantly financially. It’s a kind of call to arms against this whilst we still have strength to fight against it. “Monaco” then stayed as the ironic title as the song is totally against the madness of the few who live in their artificial, detached rich bubbles in Monaco."
<br />
<br />
Ride's new album, Interplay, is set for release on March 29th, 2024 via Wichita Recordings/PIAS.

Chicago, Illinois-based post punk band, Soft Kill, have unveiled their latest single, Englewood. The new song release serves as a preview of their anticipated upcoming album, Escape Forever, set to be released on April 12th, 2024.
<br />
<br />
Following Come Hang From The Roof Tops which was the new full length's debut single, Englewood offers a guitar-driven post punk sound with engaging cues of shoegaze. The track strikes a balance between tunefulness and dreamlike introspection, showcasing the band's adeptness at addressing contemporary insecurities and existential perplexities with artistic finesse. Englewood exudes both directness and sophistication in its approach, and hints at an outstanding new album.

<br />
Silent Mass is a new dreampop project that initially took shape as a solo endeavor in Los Angeles before the pandemic, under the creative helm of Ammo Bankoff. With the release of several attention-grabbing tracks, Ammo later joined forces with audio engineer and guitarist Robert Duncan, ultimately relocating to New York to collaborate with drummer and producer Alex Posell. As a result of the demand for live performances, the addition of bassist Kevin LoBiondo completed the band's lineup.
<br />
<br />
Their new single, Land of Heart's Desire, embodies the essence of Silent Mass's unique blend of dreampop and shoegaze. It is a hauntingly melodic track, characterized by ethereal vocals and lush guitars, elaborately blends together elements of dark post punk and wistful dreampop.
<br />
<br />
Ammo explains: "I wrote the song while reading W.B. Yeats who was a member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Yeats wrote a play entitled ‘The Land of Heart’s Desire’ about unfulfilled aspirations and how they can inadvertently affect those around you. This led me to consider the consequences of avoidant behaviors in my own life and uncover the source of my escapism."
<br />
<br />
Land of Heart's Desire is the first single release leading up to Silent Mass's debut album, The Great Chaos, set to come out on June 21st, 2024 occurring with the Summer Solstice.

<br />
Renonce, a solo project hailing from Montreal, was conceived by Frédéric Nogarède in 2021. The artist's debut album, Ombre, was created through collaboration with Toronto's industrial duo, Odonis Odonis, and saw its release in April 2023. It will be followed by the upcoming release of the new album, Nuisance sonore, coming out on April 12th, 2024, courtesy of Verboden and Negative Gain.
<br />
<br />
Fracasse is the lead single from the album, offering a dynamic introduction characterized by its hard-hitting waves. The track seamlessly blends elements of experimental industrial, noise, and darkwave, producing an atmosphere both nightmarish and exhilarating.
<br />
<br />
Renonce adeptly wields noise, darkness, and energy in a harmonious blend that beautifully intertwines all three elements. With harsh vocals cutting through a lush, synth-heavy backdrop, the result is truly engaging.

<br />
Guilt Grip's debut single, Wasted, comes ahead of the release of the band's eponymous album. It's a song that emerges with raw energy and a distinct sonic identity.
<br />
<br />
Formed in 2022, the Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland-based quartet harnesses their shared passion for abrasive noise and DIY ethos into a compelling sound with much potential.
<br />
<br />
Wasted encapsulates the band's style, blending elements of noise rock and post punk into a tense and agitated composition. The track showcases Guilt Grip's dynamic tone and also their ability to evoke a sense of gravity. With a riveting performance, Guilt Grip sets the stage for what's sure to be an exhilarating debut album.

Overload emerges as the newest single unveiled from the upcoming album. The track combines pulsating synths, acoustic guitars, and ethereal vocals to create a moody sound that accords with the band's characteristic style.
<br />
<br />
The duo comments: “Overload embodies the dystopian pop aesthetic of the album. It’s about the dilemmas of the creative process, being dependent on when inspiration strikes, never being content with your own creations and striving to make something new and better. Ultimately, it’s relinquishing fear of failure, and asserting the desire to create.”

<br />
Offering more of their genial and alluring take on dreampop and shoegaze, Tetsu the Phoenix return with their third single, You Die, I Die. The track maintains the atmospheric essence established in their previous releases, focusing on the theme of friendship.
<br />
<br />
"An ode to friendship, especially those formed in the crucible of mutual hardship," they describe. "This song is for and about a triad friendship and a deal made - if one of us leaves a shared situation of difficulty, we all leave; nobody gets left behind alone. YDID is an examination, too, of how we relate to each others' relationships: how do we care for and show up for each other when partners, spouses, or friends don't do right by people we love?"
<br />
<br />
With tender vocals, earnest lyrics, and gripping shoegaze melodies, Tetsu the Phoenix delivers a narrative of compassion in their latest release, emanating a sense of sentimentality throughout.

<br /><b>
What do you consider to be the darkest piece of music you’ve ever heard?
</b><br />
It’s a tough question because almost everything I listen to could be considered somewhat dark. The first one that comes to mind is “Taker” by DIIV from the album Deceiver. There is something about that song that makes me feel like I’m all alone, trapped in the void, but in a surprisingly comforting way.
<br />
<br /><b>
How would you characterize your own music?
</b><br />
I’d describe it as dark, provocative, and kinda dancy. Our themes are generally sad, and the overall vibe tends to be gloomy, yet we keep it upbeat. We tackle heavy subjects but in a way that feels empowering and makes you want to move, almost making it fun.
<br />
<br /><b>
What are your musical aspirations?
</b><br />
We’d LOVE to tour around Europe. Maybe it’s a romanticisation being a band from North America, but the idea of being able to tour and so quickly be able to reach so many different types of people and different cultures is amazing. Being from Montreal, we can drive 13 hours and still be in the same province. Plus, there’s a huge darkwave scene in lots of places across Europe - the UK, Germany, Scandinavia, to name just a few- and we’d love to connect with those audiences and bands, and if we could, even work with other artists we admire in the scene.
<br />
<br /><b>
What are your main musical inspirations?
</b><br />
We definitely draw from synth-based bands from the 80’s - Depeche Mode, Joy Division - but more recent examples would be darkwave/post-punk artists like Selofan and Boy Harsher - driving, synth bass, dancy and mechanical drums, almost hypnotic rhythms, but really high energy.
<br />
<br /><b>
What are your main goals in life?
</b><br />
That’s a hard one. I guess just trying to make the world a better place in any way I can, whether it’s through music or through my line of work. Take care of the people around me and be mindful of the good moments that come my way.
<br />
<br /><b>
What motivates you to create?
</b><br />
Emotions! Whenever something makes me feel something in my daily life, I try to harvest it and turn it into a song, a theme, a melody, anything. And then obviously, the beauty of sharing those captured states with the world. Even if it just reaches one person, it’s magical to be able to communicate something and be heard or even understood.
<br />
<br /><b>
Are you more of an early bird or a night owl?
</b><br />
Neither to an extreme, but I tend to be more productive in the evening.
<br />
<br /><b>
Besides music, what other art forms would you like to explore?
</b><br />
We are excited by the idea of combining multiple art forms on stage - projections, dancing, special effects. It would be a chance to layer different artistic spheres and create an intense experience and performance, especially for our more high-energy songs. We know so many talented artists in and around Montreal, and this would give us a chance to collaborate with people in a way that is not only musical. We want people to walk away from the concert not only moved by the music, but by the performance as a whole. When people talk about seeing live music, they often say “Let’s go to a show.” We want to put on a show.
<br />
<br /><b>
Which is the very first record that had a big impact on you?
</b><br />
Not sure it’s the most original answer, but I’d have to say The Bends by Radiohead. It’s no longer an album I listen to regularly, but each time one of those tracks comes on, it's like a nostalgic time warp back to my teenage years.
<br />
<br /><b>
What is the best decade for music?
</b><br />
The 80’s! Everything about it, the sounds, the aesthetic, the little glowy touch. If you listen to our music, you can definitely tell that’s where we get a lot of our inspiration from.
<br />
<br /><b>
What do your future plans include?
</b><br />
We’re about to finally release our first EP! It’s called Cope With Me, and we can’t wait for people to finally hear the songs we’ve been crafting for so long. But the thing is, we never really stopped writing. We already have more songs to share in the months that will follow the release. I think it’s something a lot of bands go through; you can’t really turn the creativity off. The recording process is finished, but we’re already itching to get back in the studio. We’re excited to go on a more introspective journey with these new songs, while at the same time maintaining a cohesive sound. That being said, it’s important to not get too far ahead of ourselves. We just finished this EP, we’re really proud of it, and we’re going to take some time to really appreciate how much hard work went into it while we prepare for shows this summer!

<br />
Peak Flow, coming from Doncaster, is a post punk/goth duo comprised of James and Jools. The band's style is influenced by eighties synthpop and darkwave acts such as the Cure, Jesus and Mary Chain, Joy Division, and Echo and the Bunnymen, among others.
<br />
<br />
A remixed version of their song Running To You showcases the band's penchant for dark themes, combining melodic and memorable elements with a brooding atmosphere that lends it a haunting quality. The combinations of synths and compelling rhythms blends seamlessly with the intense vocals, resulting in a powerful and atmospheric gothic track.

<br /><b>
What do you consider to be the darkest piece of music you’ve ever heard?
</b><br />
I was going to answer this as a joke then I realized I am not funny. I then thought of maybe the album You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen as I believe it was written on his deathbed and there are parts that I feel are his sort of goodbye to the world. Ultimately, I think it could be Strange Fruit by Billie Holiday (not sure if this is the original) but just the darkness of the music and the topic of lynching being such a dark reality of her era in America. As I wrote before I thought of Past, Present & Future by The Shangri Las too. I think there is just something a bit creepy about it, beautiful as it is like, just the spoken word over the eerie piano is nice.
<br />
<br /><b>
How would you characterize your own music?
</b><br />
Maybe melancholic, I think we try to write music that sort of says yeah everything now is a bit shit but its okay. Whether that makes sense or not I am not sure.
<br />
<br /><b>
What are your musical aspirations?
</b><br />
I’d say it has always been the same to just be able to make music and not have to work shit jobs. If I could just spend my time writing music and earning a minimal wage I would be happy.
<br />
<br /><b>
What are your main musical inspirations?
</b><br />
Bit of a copy and paste answer but we try to get inspiration from loads of genres. I have to admit recently I have been on more the electronic side, dark wave/cold wave stuff and 80s kind of thing. I think as a whole probably Josef K, The Fall etc. are a relatively big influences on us. The band Play! are on repeat a lot at the moment so might influence future works.
<br />
<br /><b>
What are your main goals in life?
</b><br />
To have a lovely studio in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in the southern French countryside with multiple dogs, my wife and solitude. Also to not work and to live off music in some way, shape or form.
<br />
<br /><b>
What motivates you to create?
</b><br />
I often question this myself, when really its such a vulnerable situation you kind of force yourself in for little reward to create music I guess. I think mainly its just because we’ve known nothing else and its just a love, a passion that you kind of refuse to give up on.
<br />
<br /><b>
Are you more of an early bird or a night owl?
</b><br />
As my face withers and the lines begin to appear I believe I am more of an early bird. I often awake with my dog, although it depends what I was up to the night before as I am too, a fan of my sleep.
<br />
<br /><b>
Besides music, what other art forms would you like to explore?
</b><br />
I have always been interested in writing as a whole, mainly short stories or poetry. My love of music overthrew my love for other forms of writing but it may be something I try again if my musical career grows tiresome.
<br />
<br /><b>
Which is the very first record that had a big impact on you?
</b><br />
As corny as it may sound, the first record that had a real impact on me was Elvis as a child. I know he maybe wasn’t the best of idols but I just loved his voice and the way, in that time, he can perplex an audience with his voice and performance.
<br />
<br /><b>
What is the best decade for music?
</b><br />
Hard to say to be honest, It’s somewhere between the 60s and 90s I think. I think for me that era from the late 70s to the late 80s would be up there. The sort of birth of the synth and the more explorative music of the late 70s with bands like Joy Division etc. I would be tempted to say the 60s though as it was kind of the era everything changed in music I feel, The Beatles, The Stones etc. obviously being at the forefront of that.
<br />
<br /><b>
What do your future plans include?
</b><br />
Short term, I may have my dinner cause I am starving. Long term I think for the band is gonna get back writing and see if we can create some songs that people wanna hear. I think Will and I are going to get demoing soon.

<br />
Digital Drvgs makes a quick comeback with their latest single Funeral Party, a dynamic track that marries the band's signature dark style with an outgoing energy. Despite its gloomy themes and dark lyrics, the song exudes an uplifting vibe, making it perfect for the club scene.
<br />
<br />
Comprising Manuel Luquin, along with his brother Alvaro Luquin and cousin Alex Luquin (Moon Visions), the project draws inspiration from classic post punk bands, and infuses their music with a modern twist, resulting in a sound that is both stirring and fascinating.
