Tape Waves from Charleston, South Carolina, composed of Kim Weldin and Jarod Weldin are among the best in soft shoegaze and dreampop. Their previous album Distant Light was a success, and the follow up is also beautiful titled Bright. It is out on Emotional Response Records and Fastcut Records.
Nice faded synths and hazy production with soft vocals. A very soothing album all the way.
