Charlottesville, VA-based dreampop trio Stray Fossa revisit one of their first releases Bear The Waves, and convert it into a refreshed listen of qualities proportionately summery, like the original.
At a time when the song started playing on Spotify, band member Will began singing over it a melody entirely different. He proceeded to work again on the older track by muting the original vocal takes, and he wrote something new over the instrumental, later enriched with additional synth lines and sounds of seagulls and beach surf.
Bear The Waves? will be part of Stray Fossa's B-Sides EP which is coming out soon.
