As part of their forthcoming remixes album, twin brothers Kyle and Myles Mendes' synthpop project, NITE, joins forces with another dark act, Denmark's The Foreign Resort. In its initial form The Morning Won was part of NITE's well received 2020 album Sleepless.

The track's danceable qualities are enhanced in the new version of the song which sounds denser than the original, and gives the idea of something more graspable. Its upbeat tone provides an interesting connection with the dark aesthetics, translating into a blossoming electronic dreampop track.
