Member of Glassing and Street Sects, Shaun Ringsmuth presents the first track from the new electronica project Luvencie, going beyond the limits of industrial, using components from hardcore, punk, and noise.
Cuffed features Seb Alvarez from the Chicago hardcore band Meth, who provided vocal stems for the track, which were then cut up and used as an instrument. Luvencie's debut aims to demonstrate the cycles of "mania and shame involved with body dysmorphia and binge eating," subjects personal to the author.
Unconfined and dark, Cuffed shows the new project's unmistakable potentiality and its genre-mixing grasp.
