Girl As Wave is the alternative rock project of New York based musician, Marci Elizabeth, in collaboration with producer/multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Deer. The artist released the debut EP Poison Vines and Nectar in 2018 which will be followed by the upcoming sophomore EP All The Noises And The Echoes.
Other Side is a pulsating number which presents the artist's tendency for a vibrant synthpop sound, centered on soft vocals and strong instrumentation. The new EP is considered by the artist to be "a reflection on transformation," something which links well with the use of dark and moody elements in the songwriting, essentially making up something enticing.
