122 Hours of Fear by Like A Motorcycle

Darkenin Heart

Like A Motorcycle have released two albums so far, and they have built an eminent profile by way of their live act, having supported bands like Against Me!, Propagandhi, METZ, Headstones, The Vibrators, Japandroids, The Pack A.D., L.A. Witch, Art Bergmann and Danko Jones. Following the album Dead Broke from 2020, LAM release standalone single 122 Hours Of Fear, a cover from 70's LA band The Screamers who, despite their status in the world of punk, never got to finalize and release a studio album.

Parallel to the original, LAM's take on the song is a fascinating delineation of an interesting concept. 122 Hours Of Fear gets across the story of the hijacking of a Lufthansa flight 181 in 1977 from the point of view of a hostage.
