After her recent work with the art rock supergroup Bloodslide together with members from Protomartyr and Preoccupations, AJ Lambert will be releasing forthcoming album Manhattan Beach, Swept By Ocean Breezes on February 11th, 2022. The first single from the full length is Lambert's unique heartrending rendition of the classic song I Got It Bad (And That Ain’t Good).
The single is paired to a cinematic video which was filmed underwater mostly. Lambert collaborate with horror director Lucky Mckee, known for his cult classic film May.
AJ comments: “This song has been around for a long time but the feeling of being locked in bad love never seems to go out of style, for a lot of us. I wanted to make sure that pain and how long it can last could be captured in one short video, and Lucky was just the man for the job since sometimes love is like a horror movie!”
