Philadelphia emo punk/alt rock quartet Church Girls, released their new album Still Blooms via Anchor Eighty Four Records in the US, and Big Scary Monsters in the UK.
"The record was written during the pandemic, and this song was written during peak feelings of isolation," the band comment on Basement, the second single from the album. "But it's a reminder to myself that life is short and not to be wasted away."
An impassioned album with a lot of energy, Still Blooms finds Church Girls sharpening more their songwriting aptitude and their sound, hence it's an affecting full length which has produced a few superb singles.
