Sektion Tyrants are a duo from Vancouver, BC, Canada, composed of Steve Ferreira (vocals, synths) and Caleb Blagdon (guitars, synths). The band's sound takes cues from eighties post punk, synthpunk and new wave.
Sektion Tyrants have released a series of singles, the first of which is the dark and energetic Last of the Wild Ones, recorded at Jacknife Sound by Jason Corbett of ACTORS.
The sharp and vivid song is indicative of a more dark-bent kind of post punk like that of The Sound and Sad Lovers And Giants, among many other recognized inspirations that Sektion Tyrants skilfully incorporate into their sound.
