The latest release by skilled artist T. G. Shand is an ethereal, beats-driven twist on dreampop that reflects the end of summer in New Zealand. Little Sieve reveals the artist being about as delicate and melodic as ever, while also displaying a fondness for ambiance and atmospherics.
Annemarie Duff, previously of Melbourne shoegazers, Miniatures, takes her personal project to different directions.
The artist comments on the new single: “Written as a chronic cynic, trying out dipping my toes into the soup, right at the end of summer in New Zealand 2022. Not that it matters what I think about life, but this was a fun wee tune to make.”
