Simplicity is the Key is another hidden psychedelic/grunge treasure by Connecticut-based alternative psychedelic rock band HED whose music is being rediscovered. The band's recent reissues include the compilation Her Fix Today and the EP DROOL, both released by DECLARED GOODS.
The track is from HED's final recording session in Hartford CT's Studio 45 in 1992. HED disbanded before the ferocity of their next album Days Like Razors, Nights Like Rats could be revealed to the underground music world. Those studio recordings had been unavailable until now.
Simplicity is the Key dominates with psychedelic rock vigor and showcases the band at its most grungy and fierce.
