Australian synthpop trio 100% come up with a pounding and vibrant take on their previous song Prisoner, first heard on their 2014 demo cassette. This is the second single from their upcoming debut album, Clear Visions, coming this year via the Melbourne-based label It Records.
The band addresses issues of power, belonging, and safety in this new rendition of the song. Prisoner is brimming with the trio's signature gleaming synthesizers and magnified percussion, and it's presented as a prime example of dark synthpop and darkwave sounds with a wealth of inventiveness and inspiration.
