Old Coke is a Chicago-based band that started as a bedroom project in 2019, and evolved influenced by soaring guitars, noise rock, energetic punk and metal, augmenting their sound into something powerful.
Earlier in 2022, Old Coke fine tuned their style and showcased their direction on their independently released debut EP, Sorted, on which they worked and recorded with producer/bassist Joe Gac from the Chicago band, Meat Wave.
Sorted is the EP's opening track, and a heavy alternative rock track featuring aspects of grunge, punk, and noise rock. The song is a melodic and densely built shoegaze rock piece that is characteristic of the band's sound, featuring outstanding percussion and a blend of heavy sounds and melancholic tones.
