The forthcoming full-length by San Francisco band Drainer has been introduced with Sunwashed, the first single and video. The album will be titled Under the Sun and it was produced by Jack Shirley at Atomic Garden in Oakland, CA.
Sunwashed is a vibrant and attractive track that demonstrates Drainer's shoegaze pop perspective as well as their propensity to merge influences from post hardcore and grunge to create one incredibly familiar outcome. It's a warm tune with a lovely visual, which stands out from the usual.
