Gossamer by Spirits of Leo

Gossamer is the title track of the new album Gossamer Blue by alternative/post punk band Spirits of Leo, out via à La Carte Records. In the band's own words, "Gossamer is a song about grief, loss, and life."

As usual for the band, Spirits of Leo's dark hued post punk couples with their evocative dreampop side in the same way that the album's superb recent singles had. Gossamer exhibits again the band's signature blend of melody, gloom, and ambience.

Gossamer Blue was written, recorded and mixed by band member Ryan Santos Phillips at his Brooklyn-based project studio Lux Perpetua NYC. The album was mastered by Justin Colletti at Joe Lambert Mastering, and features drums by Alex Lichtenstein, and guest vocalist Gioia Sabatinelli.
