Street Sects, the industrial/experimental duo of vocalist Leo Ashline and multi-instrumentalist Shaun Ringsmuth, present the vibrant X Amount, easily the most danceable Street Sects song up to this point, and their first new track since the band's return after their year-long break.
X Amount is a brief number that manages to incorporate many of Street Sects' stylistic impulses, from the harsher to the more melodious sounds that the duo produces, all done in a very short period of time.
The duo's charged new track provides audiences a taste of what's to come.
“We’ve always felt that our recordings just aren’t on par with our live sound,” Street Sects say. “While this song is certainly no substitute for the live experience, the movement and energy of the track puts you a bit closer to that feeling. This might be one of the first Street Sects tracks you could actually dance to.”
