Darker Night is the newest single by darkwave band Magnetic Skies, and part of their debut album Empire Falling, coming out n 2023. Like their recent singles, the song sounds like an eighties synthpop favorite, written in the style of top acts such as Depeche Mode and Japan, among others.
The song makes amazing use of dark synthpop standards, and does so in a very imaginative and ambitious fashion. Darker Night is a shimmering track from every angle, and it highlights Magnetic Skies' artistic aims.
