The experimental and ambient electronic project CoastalDives, based in Columbus, Ohio, has released the new full length Next Light. Rafael Anton Irisarri did the album's mastering, and Data Airlines issued it in June 2022.
This most recent album by CoastalDives offers a collection of imaginative and attractive compositions meant to entice audiences who appreciate more meditative and expansive music. 75 is a very good example of that sound. While Loscil, Nils Frahm, and Alessandro Cortini influences are conspicuous, the project's music also exhibits a variety of distinguishable personality traits.
The wonderful atmospherics by CoastalDives were created using an analog synthesizer and computer processing.
