Kurt Uenala and Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode performed a brand-new rendition of The Raveonettes' song Chains. It is the second single from The Raveonettes Presents: Rip It Off, which will be released very soon.
The new release will include eight fantastic artists with their own covers of tracks from The Raveonettes' Whip It On, which was originally released in 2002.
The energy of the song's initial garage rock style has been slightly altered in the new version, which is instead driven by Dave Gahan's signature vocal and a more propulsive electronic sound and a generally dark synthpop approach.
