Sean Dack and Lucy Swope are two interdisciplinary artists who collaborate as GHOST COP, based in New York City. Their latest single, A Shot In The Dark, is a driving post punk song built around moody and menacing vocals, strong instrumental work and great production.
The new song is accompanied by a video which pretty accurately captures the music's icy tone. The duo themselves directed the clip, as they had done with their earlier works, and the outcome is fascinating.
GHOST COP comment: "The song describes a feeling of being stuck in a pattern, when a cycle becomes so familiar, it seems like predestiny. The precognition that is created when you can see the end even before you’ve begun."
