Beginning in 2021, Oakland, California-based Cheree is a four-piece industrial noise band. Their music features punching vocals, harsh guitars, unearthly samples, and feedback, creating a tough sound that lies between hardcore and industrial.
Churn Down refers to the violence involved in wage labor, and expresses apprehension through the relentless and pounding rhythm, the roar of the guitar, and Vanessa's agitated and gloomy vocals. The song is part of the upcoming EP, Factory, and becomes a rough and brutal debut from the emerging group.
