Plattenbau return with a great new song, following their well received latest album Shape / Shifting. New song, Cloaking Love, sounds like a familiar post punk song from the late seventies, and has Plattenbau's songwriting character all over it.
A post punk energy infused with tense bass and drum beats is accompanied by Lewis Lloyd's bleak dramatic perception. Plattenbau make a sharp comeback with Cloaking Love, which is equally strong on the lyrical and instrumental fronts, and is also perfectly produced.
