Spirit Award's upcoming album The Fear has given rise to a number of singles, all of which suggest a clever and engaging full length release. New Energy, another standout track from The Fear, is the band's most recent single.
The group's Daniel Lyon comments on New Energy: “The song is a wishful look into the future. Change or progress isn’t always good as we have seen throughout history. But I believe some things and minds in this world must change in order for us to have a better and more unified future. We can start by looking at ourselves and changing and challenging our patterns, behaviors and the way we treat others.”
Spirit Award has decided to donate upfront and give a portion of future sales from the release of The Fear to MusiCares in support of Share It Music's nonprofit aims.
