Old Coke follow their EP Sorted with new single, Vapor Drunk. The track follows in the style of the band's heavy shoegaze sound with elements from emo and noise rock, and it's themed on "hazy lost romance."
Vapor Drunk sounds nostalgic and atmospheric, and is based on massive wall of sound layered guitars and powerful drums which form a musical environment that is gloomy and vigorous at the same time.
The band once again collaborates with Joe Gac of the Chicago indie band Meat Wave on percussion. The song was recorded with Zac Montez (Whirr, Cloakroom) and Corey Coffman (Gleemer, Kraus).
