DTA is the most recent track by Ragana. With members who interchange roles on drums, guitar, and vocals, they craft some of the most unconventional and evocative sounds in contemporary metal. The band has recently signed with The Flenser and is set to unveil their upcoming album, Desolation’s Flower, on October 27th, 2023, an album that delves deeply into the theme of death.
“Death is a new beginning, just a word to inspire a different vision of a future,” Ragana describe.
DTA stands for "Death To America." It blends the auditory elements of a riot unfolding in the streets of Oakland, and brings forward a message that encapsulates the spirit of the current era.
Desolation’s Flower was engineered by Nicholas Wilbur at the Unknown Studio in Anacortes, Washington (Planning For Burial, drowse, Divide and Dissolve, Have a Nice Life), and represents the pinnacle of the band's philosophy and artistry over the past decade and beyond.
