Starting as the solo endeavor of musician Jake Phillips, Glass Chapel eventually transformed into a full group with a post punk sound infused with elements of synthpop and the rough energy of distorted guitars.
In its initial take, Foreign Rain emerged as a homage to the style of Gary Numan and similar synthpop classics from the early eighties. The new ISYA remix takes the song on a wholly new trajectory, and a completely dark sound.
Layers of distortion and intensifying drum work, result in a post apocalyptic ambiance which holds the listener spellbound.
