Twin brothers Kyle and Myles Mendes, who were born in Canada, comprise NITE, a project now based in Dallas, Texas. The artists have a distinct sound that incorporates elements of post punk and dreampop from the eighties mixed with electronic-infused rock. Their sound ranges from more easygoing dreampop sounds to the darker aspects of post punk.
The latest single from NITE is Price For Heaven, which the band describes as "a darkwave song that explores the sacrifices, challenges, and sometimes painful realities we endure in pursuit of our own version of heaven on earth."
With wonderful production and powerful performances, NITE is at their most enticing and engaging in their new single, a vibrant dark track that makes an impression.
