Winter is Gone by Catch The Breeze

Darkenin Heart

Danish shoegaze band, Catch The Breeze, reveal their new EP Spaces, with the focus track Winter is Gone standing out. It finds the band centered more on the melodic aspect of their sound, which is gentle and mellow, and has a distinct dreampop quality.

The song's central theme is about courageously diving into deeper waters and breaking free from stagnation. The band gives an emotive performance, and the song is masterfully produced, highlighted by a groove with a hint of swing which propels the ethereal atmosphere of the music towards its peak.

Catch The Breeze say: “Creating the new songs has been intense and we are excited to release them now because we know, that it is only when the songs find their audience that they come to life.”

Magnus Vad recorded Winter is Gone at the Feedback Studiet in Denmark. Morten Bue mixed and mastered the song. Lowly's Kasper Staub provides keys.
