Paint It All in Blue is the second preview from Norwegian band Mayflower Madame’s eagerly awaited third album, Insight, set to be released on November 1st, 2024 through Night Cult Records, Up In Her Room, and Icy Cold Records.

Frontman Trond Fagernes' resonant lyrics explore themes of addiction and escapism, portraying love as a drug, which intensifies the song’s sentimental profundity. Blending a set of genres such as krautrock, post punk rhythm, shoegaze and neo-psychedelia, Paint It All in Blue is a beautiful song that showcases the unique qualities that have positioned Mayflower Madame as a notable band in the dark post punk scene.

The accompanying video, directed by visual artist Astrid Serck, contributes to the song's mood with a combination of collage animations and symbolic moving images that draw a parallel between expressionism and surrealism.
