Fotoform’s forthcoming third album, Grief is a Garden (Forever in Bloom), focuses on themes of loss and transformation, combining shoegaze-inflected post punk with a poetic honesty.
On this record, Kim House (vocals, bass, synths, guitar) and Geoff Cox (guitars) turn inward, creating an intimate sonic journey through grief, resilience, and change. Each track emerges with emotional depth, expressing the delicate balance between pain and renewal.
A standout example is If You Knew / Don't You Worry, Baby, a wistful and hauntingly beautiful piece that channels classic dreampop textures with a modern sensibility. Its evocative lyrics and expressive vocals make it feel deeply personal, yet thoroughly resonant.
