There’s a raw urgency throughout Rough Dimension, with distorted punk guitars clashing against industrial synths, and vocals that drip with menace and charisma. Yet beneath the grime lies emotional depth, echoing the melodic sensibilities of Andrew Clinco’s other project, Drab Majesty. Here, they’re more feral, more unrestrained. At times, Rough Dimension feels like Drab Majesty’s more dangerous, unhinged sibling.
Each track is tightly packed with ideas, memorable, intense, and relentlessly moody. The songs bleed into one another effortlessly, creating a seamless flow that rewards the entire experience.
