Death Drive, the project of Carine Fierobe and Danny Sanchez, is back with Volcano, their forceful and vigorous latest single, released through Gasolina Recordings.
Following their recent track Adrift Haze, the band's new offering raises the intensity with a darker direction and a sound that seems more atmospheric. Carine’s vocals shift fluidly between English and her native French, adding an intriguing duality to the track’s remarkable production. Volcano pulses with a newfound resoluteness, bubbling with noir sensibility.
The band describes: "‘Volcano’ depicts the uncontrollable and unpredictable anger that occurs when your ego is cracked open and dismantled. When you look for protection from the burning desire to destroy everything, including yourself."
