P.I.C.N.I.C by Minor Crime

Darkenin Heart

Minor Crime is the solo venture of David Tomlinson, best known as one-half of Australian psych duo Spirit Valley. With his new project, he's stepping out on his own and into the weird with P.I.C.N.I.C, the first single from his debut album Inhumane Bandwidth.

A crunchy garage synth-psych piece, P.I.C.N.I.C takes aim at the looping rituals of modern life, based on ideas of convenience, compulsion, and those everyday rabbit holes we can't seem to stop digging. It's sharp, snarky, and self-aware, packed with themes of repetition, suffocation, and echo-chamber addiction. The title is a sly nod: Problem In Chair, Not In Computer.

Inhumane Bandwidth arrives via Geertruida label in early 2026.
