Packaging have just shared their latest single, In Your Pocket, providing one more taste of what’s to come on their debut self titled album, arriving October 10th, 2025 via Share It Music/Sub Pop Records.
Part of an album which is shaped around the theme of travel, the new song pairs hypnotic krautrock-inspired rhythms with lush synth layers. It all culminates in a sound that feels expansive and immersive.
The track shines with crisp, dynamic production courtesy of James Barone of Beach House, who handled both drums and mixing. It’s a standout example of the duo’s meticulous approach to sound design, something that’s quickly becoming their signature.
Formed by Daniel Lyon (Spirit Award) and Daniel “Connor” Birch (Flaural), Packaging bring together their unique influences to produce music that’s textured, genre-blurring, and consistently compelling.
