The song is a plunge into pure, unfiltered melancholia. Built on brooding synths that stretch the limits of darkwave, it first meanders through post punk textures and shadowy motifs before fully immersing itself in the genre’s dark corners.
The upbeat original has been transformed into a slowed down version that feels almost torturous in the best way, making it even more evocative and haunting than the already sentimental track.
