Ladytron’s most recent album, Time’s Arrow, landed in 2023 and proved to be a strong entry in their catalog. The band returns with a brand new single, the polished and glowing I Believe in You. It’s their first new music in a while, and it’s always a thrill to have Ladytron back in the mix.
With Helen Marnie, Daniel Hunt, and Mira Aroyo carrying the torch following the departure of founding member Reuben Wu, this first single sets a striking tone. I Believe in You leans more into electronica and dance influences than some of their past work, yet the band’s signature blend of moodiness, quirk, and atmosphere remains fully intact.
The track is paired with an artful, cinematic video directed by Daniel Hunt himself. Stylish and unsettling in equal measure, it lingers with a sense of intrigue and just the right touch of creepiness, an aesthetic that suits Ladytron's music perfectly.
