The Spoiled is the post punk vessel of Italian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Giovanni Santolla. Created as a solitary studio project, it first surfaced through the Ironshell EP and later fully formed with the album Parasite, both released via Manic Depression Records.
Santolla's music represents a cycle between constraint and release. Icy, hammering percussion and distorted synth lines clash with misty guitars and ghost-like vocals, resulting in a desolate emotional framework that is equally intimate and cruel.
Immacolata enhances the project's aesthetic background. The song is a haunting collaboration with mysterious enchantress Aux Animaux, and it begins with raw emotion before transitioning into mesmerizing, night-driven energy. It's sinister and enticing, like an occult meeting in which two dark perceptions come together to summon a force impure, attractive, and impossible to escape.
