Silent Fever hits as the first signal flare from Chalice Sect’s upcoming EP, and it arrives with a kind of restless momentum, pushing forward, bending under distortion, but holding tight to a structure that pulls the listener fully inside its darkwave pulse. The Los Angeles–based project once again threads together post punk tension, new wave appeal, and dark electro, without ever feeling like it’s working from a preset mold.
