Nightshades by Celestial Hex

Darkenin Heart

German act Celestial Hex unveil the world of their debut album Nightshades with two tracks that show different facets of their sound while staying based in the same nocturnal pulse.

Cold Breath presents the band’s more vivid, synth‑forward side. The track leans into a darker synthwave atmosphere, with the electronics pushed to the front and the shadows stretching around them.

The band imagines it visually and sonically in a very specific way: "This song could be playing in the movie "Blade" after Wesley Snipes leaves a dance club and rides through a foggy city on his vamped up motorbike."

My Body’s Flame is a Hunter moves in a different emotional direction, though it stays within the same dark environment. It’s a vampiric fever dream, dangerous, and steeped in the kind of cinematic mood that defined late‑eighties and early‑nineties cult films like Near Dark and The Lost Boys.

The band describes it as a vampire’s version of romance, and that sensibility runs through every part of the track. A video is paired to the music, extending the song’s atmosphere into its own visual language.
