Days Go By by So, Reverie
May 02, 2026
So, Reverie arrive with a sense of looking back not to replicate, but to reconnect with a feeling that values immediacy, melody, and emotional expression. Their new song appears to be enabling their early inspirations to return in a personal way, quietly changing the band's current expression.
On Days Go By, they mention: "‘Days Go By’ is a tune we set out to create with a slightly different feel to our other tracks. I was really influenced by revisiting many of the 00s and 2010s Indie Rock anthems me and Cain grew up on and how nostalgic they made us feel, particularly tracks from groups like the Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Night Cafe. For me, it’s an era that’s really close to my heart and is engrained in the musical foundations of So, Reverie as much as any of the other genres you would associate us with from the outside looking in."
Days Go By is the group's newest single off their debut EP, and it takes a slightly distinct approach than earlier tracks, drawing influence from driving anthemic 2000s Indie Rock while retaining important parts of the band's signature dreampop and shoegaze style.
