Crazy by Seasurfer

Darkenin Heart

Emerging from Hamburg and led by Dirk Knight, Seasurfer has long operated at the crossroads of shoegaze, post punk, and dreampop, building a reputation through towering layers of guitar noise, hypnotic rhythms, and vocals that drift between vulnerability and transcendence. Knight's history stretches back to the early nineties with DARK ORANGE and includes collaborations with notable figures such as Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) and producer John Fryer (4AD, This Mortal Coil), connections that hint at the musical genes running through SEASURFER's work.

The band returns with a pair of EPs that showcase different facets of their sound. The first, Angels, has just been released and leans heavily into post punk territory. A second release, The Noise Is Ours, follows on August 14th, 2026, shifting the focus back toward the band's noisier instincts.

The band describes their new song Crazy as "a Post-Punk affected song with lyrics about all of us walkin` around like Zombies in this world of massive informations and starring at our smartphones." It's a track that holds up a mirror to the modern condition, filtering collective anxiety through distortion and momentum.
