A shared love of music first connected atmos bloom’s Tilda Gratton and Curtis Paterson when Tilda auditioned as bassist for Curtis’ band during their time at the University of Manchester. Their earliest collaboration, a psych-rock and shoegaze project drawing inspiration from Sonic Youth and Pavement, laid the foundation for a creative partnership that would continue long after those formative years.
Seven years after countless rehearsals in rainy Trafford, the London-based duo are preparing to unveil their most fully realised work yet. Set for release on July 24th, 2026, via Spirit Goth, Everythingness follows their Covid-era debut Flora. Written through a period of personal growth and transition, the album traces the complexities of navigating youth and early adulthood while learning to hold competing demands, ambitions and identities in balance.
The record’s latest single, Everything, arrives with an accompanying video. Carried by Gratton’s powerful vocal performance, layered guitars and driving rhythms, the track reflects on the struggle to juggle every aspect of life at once, and the search for clarity within that constant pull.
