French dark band Curtain step into brighter territory with Get Better, a buoyant new cut from their latest album, Spiral, released May 2026 through Manic Depression Records. Standing apart from the record’s predominantly darker atmosphere, the track trades shadows for an open, optimistic outlook without losing the band’s new wave sensibility.
Blending indie rock immediacy and warmth, with breezy new wave influences, the track pairs its uncomplicated message of hope with a sound made for the summer. The accompanying video was filmed at Fats Studio, where Spiral was recorded and mixed alongside featured collaborator Franck Amendola (Corpus Delicti), capturing the song’s positive spirit in the place where it first took shape.
