Hong Kong shoegaze/dreampop six-piece Lucid Express release their self-titled debut album on New York label Kanine Records. The band's airy sound has been presented in a series of singles ahead of the album's release, The Hotel 65 takes its name from the guesthouse where the singer Kim Ho stayed when visiting the UK.
The video which accompanies the song is a collage of footage taken from the band’s travels in Hong Kong, as well as other places like in Vietnam, Japan, the UK and the United States. The song deals with the idea "of a relationship that should never have happened between two strangers who know that their time together is only going to be brief," and it reveals both the fuzzy and the atmospheric side of Lucid Express,
