Brooklyn-based industrial rock band Heavy Halo will release their self-titled debut album on November 5th 2021 on Negative Gain. The forceful Black Seed is the first single and video.
Despair and nihilism are the track's main themes, with the band delivering a dynamic sound which flashes back to nineties grunge and industrial. Black Seed throws out melody and raucousness both in the front.
The video was directed by Meta Armory and styled by Whatever21. According to the band's statement, it "conveys the stalemate of self-destruction. We’re tortured by disembodied hands, our shadow selves. But ultimately, we claw through by filling the void with noise."
