Melbourne shoegazers Oceans began as a solo project by musician Thomas Lee, and eventually expanded to a six-piece with the addition of members Dwayne Pearce, Michael Fox, Mayzie Wallen, Anthony Knoepfle and Josh Strange.

Break My Fall follows the band's first single, Come So Far, and it comes with a new video created by award-winning director Liam Fitzgibbon, depicting the band performing.

Thomas Lee describes: “I wanted to create something a little more lo-fi with this clip. I had the pleasure of working with Liam again who did our first video. For this one I drew inspiration from My Bloody Valentine and other lofi aesthetics. A big part of the inspiration came from our guitarist’s band, Kigo who utilises a lot of filtered effects. I wanted to produce something with the full band image. I’ve been collaborating with a band for a while now - since finishing the EP, and I was keen to shake off the idea of being a solo artist.”

Break My Fall gives out a familiar shoegaze atmosphere, striking as something that could be positioned next to the classics.
