Released August 06, 2021 by A Place To Bury Strangers.
Shoegaze/noise rock greats, A Place to Bury Strangers, have returned with Hologram, their powerful new EP, and an updated lineup, including founder Oliver Ackermann, together with members of Ceremony East Coast John Fedowitz (bass) and Sandra Fedowitz (drums).
The latest single to surface from the EP is In My Hive, matched to a horror-themed video.
“‘In My Hive’ is about how I’ve let myself get taken advantage of by other people because I just didn’t care at the time, but it definitely has come back to haunt me,” says A Place To Bury Strangers’ Oliver Ackermann. “It can be tiring to deal with these emotions but it’s best to think about what is going on and work through it.”
Hologram is one of the first releases of Ackermann's new label Dedstrange.
