Remixed by experimental music legend Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, Rock 'n' Roll Manifesto, was originally conceived in 2004, and released for the first time on July 15th, 2021 from the new label World Domination Records, a subsidiary of World Domination Pictures. Rise NYC is a band which combines elements from new wave and other alternative styles with electronics in an inventive way.
The track includes the production skills of two more great artists, producer Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds), and engineer Peter Mavrogeorgis (Michael Gira's Angels of Light / Tav Falco's Panther Burns). An underground act of experienced musicians Rise NYC are composed of Shelly Ebner (vocals, bass) Die J! Mars (vocals, guitars, programming). All this talent combined, certainly materializes resourcefully in the final result.
The song's b-side comes from Binary Starr System, and it was remixed by another legendary musician, David J of Bauhaus and it also has a music video.
