After their debut album Heavy Eyes Hamilton-based quartet Basement Revolver withdrawn into quarantine to come up with new music themed on "identity, faith, mental illness, and sexuality." The band will release their sophomore album Embody, and from it comes the first single and video Skin.
Skin is a slow and fragile song which finds guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Chrisy Hurn-Morrison being explicitly outspoken about the struggles she's undergone with the self-perception of her body.
Basement revolver's lineup is completed with bassist and keyboardist Nim Agalawatte, lead guitarist Jonathan Malström and drummer Levi Kertesz
